From Dr. James' Teachings

Let me explain a little about arthritis.

The reason arthritis becomes painful is simply because the joint is unhealthy. Every joint in the body is surrounded by a membrane that contains synovial fluid. That fluid lubricates the joint so the bones move smoothly instead of grinding against one another. It is very similar to the oil in your car's engine. As long as the oil is clean, the engine runs well and does not wear out nearly as quickly. When the oil becomes dirty and gritty, the engine parts begin to wear. Our joints work much the same way.

If our diet does not provide the nutrients needed to maintain healthy joints, the synovial fluid may no longer provide the support it should. The membrane surrounding the joint can gradually weaken and become thinner. As that happens, the joint surfaces begin to wear, resulting in discomfort, stiffness, and inflammation. If the synovial membrane becomes unhealthy, it may also lose its ability to properly maintain the joint fluid, which can contribute to swelling. That is a simplified explanation of arthritis.

Arth Rite was formulated to provide nutritional support for these tissues. Rather than simply masking discomfort, its purpose is to nourish the joints and surrounding tissues so they can function more normally. As those tissues receive the nutritional support they need, many people find that their comfort gradually improves.

The dosage I generally recommend is twelve capsules daily. This may be taken as three capsules four times a day, four capsules three times a day, or all twelve capsules at one time. The timing is generally less important than taking the recommended daily amount consistently.

Many people eventually discover a maintenance dose that works well for them. Once they have reached a comfortable level, they gradually reduce the dosage until they begin to notice a return of discomfort. They then increase the dosage slightly to find the amount that continues to provide support. Since every individual is different, maintenance dosages will vary.

Other formulas can also complement Arth Rite. Throb Eaz may help provide temporary comfort while Arth Rite is supporting the joints. Tissue Mend is often used alongside Arth Rite to support the body's connective tissues, particularly when joint concerns have been present for a long time. If gout tendencies, nodules, or joint deformities are present, Bladney may also be beneficial.

Good nutrition is an important part of healthy joints. Calcium and magnesium are essential minerals, and a quality multivitamin can help provide nutritional support. I also encourage reducing refined carbohydrates while emphasizing leafy green vegetables, yellow vegetables, whole grains, beans, lentils, peas, quality proteins, lean meats, poultry, and fish.

Will someone need to take Arth Rite for the rest of their life? If the underlying nutritional deficiencies are never corrected, ongoing nutritional support may continue to be beneficial. However, improving the diet is one of the most important long-term steps toward supporting healthy joints.

Arth Rite has traditionally been used not only to support healthy joints, but also to support muscles and connective tissues following bruises, sprains, and other minor injuries.

From My Own Practice

As a massage therapist for more than 25 years, I rely on my hands, wrists, elbows, shoulders, and back every day. Massage therapy places tremendous demands on the joints and soft tissues. I first began experiencing arthritic discomfort in one of my index fingers when I was just 23 years old.

Today, I continue to practice full-time, and joint pain does not limit my work. My personal maintenance routine is one Arth Rite and one Tissue Mend each day. During weeks when I know I'll have a particularly busy massage schedule, I often increase that to four Arth Rite and four Tissue Mend daily to help support my joints and soft tissues before the added physical demands.

This has been my personal routine for many years, and it has allowed me to continue doing the work I love. It is also one of the reasons I confidently recommend this combination to clients who are looking to support healthy joints as part of a comprehensive wellness program that includes good nutrition and healthy lifestyle habits.

Dosage Guide

The directions on the bottle provide a general recommendation. In my own practice, I view those amounts as a starting point, not a limit. During times of greater discomfort, I adjust the amount and frequency according to the level of support the body seems to need.

A personal note for my clients: If we've worked together recently, please follow the recommendations I gave you during your consultation. They were personalized to your individual health needs, goals, and circumstances and may differ from the general dosage suggestions provided here or on the bottle.
