From Dr. James' Teachings
Dr. James did not leave published teaching notes for this formula. Although no written literature was available, I worked alongside him in clinical practice for more than 15 years, learning not only from his written work but from his day-to-day approach to caring for clients. The information below reflects both those experiences and my own clinical practice.

From My Practice
From the time I was a little girl, I regularly had charley horses and severe cramps in the soles of my feet. They could happen while I was lying in bed, sitting in a chair, swimming, or simply walking. The pain was intense, but I honestly believed everyone experienced them. It wasn't until I was in my thirties that I learned most people don't live with foot cramps like that.
Once I realized that wasn't normal, I started taking PM Minerals+ consistently, along with additional potassium. I couldn't tell you exactly how long it took, but over time those cramps simply became a thing of the past. Today, it is extremely rare for me to experience one. What I had accepted as "just the way my body was" turned out to be something my body simply needed nutritional support for. That experience completely changed the way I look at minerals.
PM Minerals+ is now one of the formulas I recommend to almost everyone because minerals provide such an important foundation for good health. They support healthy muscles, nerves, bones, hydration, enzyme activity, and the body's ability to utilize other nutrients. No matter what health goal someone is working toward, the body still needs the raw materials to carry out its normal functions.
We named this formula PM Minerals+ because Dr. James encouraged people to take their minerals in the evening. That doesn't mean they can only be taken at night. They may be taken whenever it best fits your schedule. Dr. James believed evening was an ideal time to replenish what the body had used throughout the day. He often explained it this way: vitamins help prepare the body for the day ahead, while minerals help replenish what the day has used. Taking your minerals in the evening was his way of telling your body, "Good job... attaboy." It was a simple reminder to pause at the end of the day and provide your body with the nutritional building blocks it needs to recover and prepare for tomorrow.
Modern life can make it difficult to obtain the wide variety of minerals our bodies need. Food processing, depleted soils, stress, and other everyday factors may reduce either the amount of minerals we consume or our ability to maintain adequate mineral levels. PM Minerals+ provides a broad spectrum of major and trace minerals, along with fulvic and humic acids, in forms that are readily recognized and utilized by the body. Rather than focusing on a single nutrient, it provides comprehensive mineral support to complement a healthy diet and everyday wellness.
In my practice, PM Minerals+ is one of the formulas I recommend most often because every system of the body depends on adequate mineral nutrition. One of the first improvements I often hear from clients is that their charley horses become less frequent, their muscle cramps improve, and those deep muscle aches after a long day aren't nearly as noticeable. I also think of this formula when children are dealing with growing pains or when someone simply isn't recovering from the day's activities as well as they should.
Like good nutrition in general, PM Minerals+ isn't about chasing a quick fix. It's about consistently providing the body with the nutritional building blocks it needs so it can function the way it was designed to function. In my experience, when you begin with a strong nutritional foundation, every other step toward better health has a better opportunity to succeed.

Dosage Guide
A personal note for my clients: If we've worked together recently, please follow the recommendations I gave you during your consultation. They were personalized to your individual health needs, goals, and circumstances and may differ from the general dosage suggestions provided here or on the bottle.
Support Needed
Maintenance
Mild
Moderate
Intensive
Common Amount
1 to 2 capsules once daily
1 capsule twice daily
3 capsules once daily
2 capsules twice daily
Once you begin noticing improvement, you can usually reduce to the lowest amount that continues to provide the support you need.
The directions on the bottle provide a general recommendation. In my own practice, I view those amounts as a starting point, not a limit. During times of greater discomfort, I adjust the amount and frequency according to the level of support the body seems to need.

Traditional Use of the Contents
Calcium and magnesium (as amino acid chelates) have traditionally been used to support healthy bones and teeth, normal muscle contraction and relaxation, nerve function, cardiovascular health, and restful sleep.
Magnesium and potassium (as amino acid chelates) have traditionally been used to support healthy muscle and nerve function, electrolyte balance, physical recovery, and occasional muscle cramps associated with inadequate mineral intake.
Zinc and selenium (as amino acid chelates) have traditionally been used to support healthy immune function, antioxidant activity, healthy skin, tissue repair, thyroid function, and normal cellular protection.
Chromium and vanadium (as amino acid chelates) have traditionally been used to support healthy carbohydrate metabolism and healthy blood sugar levels already within the normal range.
Manganese, copper, and boron (as amino acid chelates) have traditionally been used to support healthy connective tissue, cartilage, bones, joints, collagen formation, and normal enzyme activity.
Molybdenum (as an amino acid chelate) has traditionally been used to support normal enzyme function and the metabolism of sulfur-containing amino acids.
Fulvic acid and humic acid have traditionally been valued for supporting mineral absorption and utilization, providing naturally occurring trace minerals, and helping transport minerals and other nutrients throughout the body.
Trace minerals have traditionally been used to provide nutritional support for healthy enzyme systems, cellular function, electrolyte balance, energy production, and the many biochemical processes that depend upon adequate mineral nutrition.
