From Dr. James' Teachings

This formula deals with the elasticity of the veins, more specifically the degradation of that elasticity, which is commonly found in varicose veins. When the vein loses its elasticity, the blood begins to pool, and the vein begins to stretch. Vari Cose helps to alleviate the pain and discomfort, and in many cases will significantly reduce the size and appearance of varicose veins.

I was working in a health food store one day. Customers could come in and ask me questions. One lady picked up several packages of Vari Cose and proceeded to the cash register. Thinking that she must be fairly satisfied with that formula, I made it a point to talk to her. She said that she had been taking it for varicose veins. She then told me that she was a district manager of a major company, in charge of several stores. She had gotten much relief from the discomfort in her legs while on her feet for prolonged periods. When her clerks would complain of leg problems, she would put them on Vari Cose.

I'm sure that her employees thought that she wanted them to feel better. She was tired of hearing them whine and complain about their legs hurting... and she wanted to get more work out of them! She was using the formula both for relief and as a preventative.

When we are on our feet a lot and feel discomfort and pain in our legs, this formula is wonderful. It puts back into the system the nutrients that the veins need to continue to be strong and prevent them from weakening, so the blood won't pool.

From My Practice

I had the privilege of working in downtown Salt Lake City during the 2002 Winter Olympics. I arrived a few months before the Games began, and my days were spent giving tours for hours at a time. By the end of the day, my legs and lower back would often ache, much like someone who spends all day on their feet in retail, at a grocery store, or in any job that requires prolonged standing.

I remember calling my dad and asking him to send me Vari Cose. I started by taking six capsules a day to get ahead of the discomfort. Once my legs felt better, I reduced my dosage to four capsules a day, and eventually to two capsules a day as maintenance. I continued taking two capsules daily for the remainder of my time in Utah, which ended up being about a year and a half.

After I started taking Vari Cose, the aching in my legs and lower back simply wasn't an issue anymore. I was able to spend long days on my feet without the discomfort I had experienced during those first weeks.

Today, Vari Cose is one of my first recommendations for anyone who spends long hours standing. I also recommend it for people with spider veins, varicose veins, or blood pooling in the lower legs. By supporting the elasticity and integrity of the veins, it helps the circulatory system do what it was designed to do. In my experience, this formula has an especially noticeable effect on the lower extremities.

Dosage Guide

A personal note for my clients: If we've worked together recently, please follow the recommendations I gave you during your consultation. They were personalized to your individual health needs, goals, and circumstances and may differ from the general dosage suggestions provided here or on the bottle.

Support Needed

Maintenance

Mild

Moderate

Intensive

Common Amount

1 to 2 capsules once daily

1 capsule twice daily

3 capsules once daily

2 capsules twice daily

Once you begin noticing improvement, you can usually reduce to the lowest amount that continues to provide the support you need.

The directions on the bottle provide a general recommendation. In my own practice, I view those amounts as a starting point, not a limit. During times of greater discomfort, I adjust the amount and frequency according to the level of support the body seems to need.
