From Dr. James' Teachings
Throb Eaz is a very simple formula made from Peppermint, Wood Betony, and Rosemary. It's very, very simple... yet very effective in helping the body deal with pain. If someone has taken conventional pain medication and then takes Throb Eaz, they're going to say they are nothing alike. What a compliment.
Throb Eaz does not make a person pass out or walk around in a daze. It doesn't simply cover up the body's signals. Instead, it nutritionally supports healthy circulation and the nervous system so the body can deal with discomfort more effectively. It doesn't necessarily make the pain disappear. It simply helps the body handle it better.
Think of it this way. If your automobile started making a terrible noise while you were driving down the road, it wouldn't make much sense to put earplugs in your ears. Yet that's often how people approach pain. If you only silence the warning, you increase the chance of making the problem worse. Throb Eaz doesn't do that. If you move the wrong way or bump an injury, you'll still know it. Your body is still talking to you. The difference is that many people find they're better able to tolerate the discomfort while the body goes about the work of healing.
I've had this formula in my clinic since 1980. I've recommended it for headaches, body aches, aches that accompany fever, occasional sleeplessness because of discomfort, and many other situations where people simply needed help getting through the pain. I knew many people were using it for severe pain, but I never fully appreciated just how valuable it was until one February day in New Mexico.
A powerful wind literally blew me, along with part of my roof, off my house and into my back yard. After being carried nearly seventy feet through the air, I can personally testify that this is one remarkable pain formula. For the first two days I took ten capsules at a time, repeating the dose every thirty to ninety minutes. I was absolutely aware of the pain... but I could handle it.
The best way I can describe it is this. Imagine being trapped in a room full of screaming children with no way to comfort them and no way to escape. That's what severe pain feels like. Taking Throb Eaz is like putting on a really good set of earplugs. You still know the children are there. You can still hear them. But you can think clearly, stay aware of your surroundings, and make good decisions. When those earplugs start slipping out, you know it's time for another dose. By the third and fourth day I needed much less. By the fifth day I don't think I took any at all.
One capsule may be all you need. Others may need more. Find the smallest amount that gives you the support you're looking for, then let your body continue the work of repairing itself. Throb Eaz can help you deal with the discomfort... just don't forget to deal with the problem.

From My Own Practice
Whenever pain becomes part of the conversation, Throb Eaz is almost always part of mine. I used it after severely injuring my ankle at a trampoline park, alongside Tissue Mend to support the healing process. The pain was excruciating. During those first couple of days I was taking six capsules every fifteen minutes, then every thirty minutes as the pain gradually settled down. It didn't make me forget the injury was there, but it took enough of the edge off that I could think clearly, function, and make it through those first difficult days. I also relied on Throb Eaz after having my wisdom teeth removed, where the pain was temporary and I knew healing was already underway.
That's also how I use it in practice. Sometimes pain is simply part of the healing process, and helping someone get through those few days is exactly what's needed. More often, though, pain is telling us something. If someone is dealing with frequent headaches, recurring joint pain, or another ongoing problem, I don't want to recommend Throb Eaz by itself. I want to help them address what's causing the pain in the first place. Throb Eaz helps them get through today while we work on tomorrow. As the underlying problem improves, many people find they naturally need less and less Throb Eaz.
One thing many people don't realize is that Throb Eaz also makes a wonderful tea. The herbs are pleasant tasting on their own. Simply open the capsules into a cup of hot water and, if you'd like, sweeten it with a good quality honey. Whether someone chooses capsules or tea, I encourage them to take enough to notice a difference. If they're still hurting, they can take more as needed until they find the amount that works well for them. Every person is different, and every situation is different. Just as Dad always taught, never forget to address the reason the pain is there in the first place.

Dosage Guide
The directions on the bottle provide a general recommendation. In my own practice, I view those amounts as a starting point, not a limit. During times of greater discomfort, I adjust the amount and frequency according to the level of support the body seems to need.
A personal note for my clients: If we've worked together recently, please follow the recommendations I gave you during your consultation. They were personalized to your individual health needs, goals, and circumstances and may differ from the general dosage suggestions provided here or on the bottle.

Don't be afraid to take enough to notice a difference. Some people do well with just a few capsules, while others need considerably more. In my practice, it's not unusual for someone with significant discomfort to use up to 60 capsules over the course of a day, then gradually reduce the amount as they begin feeling better.
