From Dr. James' Teachings
Maintaining a healthy weight is about much more than simply eating less. The foods we eat provide the raw materials our bodies use to produce energy, build new tissues, repair damaged cells, and carry out thousands of chemical reactions every day. When we consistently provide proper nutrition, the body is far better equipped to function the way it was designed.
Our foods contain four basic nutrients: starches, fats, proteins, and water.
Starches are the body's most efficient source of energy and provide many of the building materials needed for healthy body function. Whole plant foods naturally supply starch along with fiber, vitamins, minerals, and many other nutrients that refined foods often lack.
Fats provide concentrated energy and serve as important structural components throughout the body. While many fats can be manufactured by the body, certain essential fats must come from the foods we eat.
Proteins provide the amino acids needed to build and maintain muscles, organs, enzymes, hormones, and other tissues. Water supplies no calories, but it is essential for every living cell and for nearly every function within the body.
One of the simplest principles of weight management is understanding the difference between satisfying hunger and simply consuming calories. Foods rich in natural starches, vegetables, fruits, legumes, and other wholesome plant foods help satisfy hunger while supplying the nutrition the body needs. When the body receives proper nourishment, maintaining a healthy weight often becomes much easier.
Extra B Gone was developed to complement a sound nutritional program by providing ingredients that have traditionally been used to support healthy appetite, normal fat metabolism, and healthy energy as part of an overall weight management program.

From My Own Practice
People are looking for practical tools that can help them reach and maintain a healthy weight, and there are more options available today than ever before. Extra B Gone has remained one of the tools I continue to recommend because it fits naturally alongside the healthy habits I'm already encouraging my clients to build.
I usually recommend taking Extra B Gone a few minutes before each meal. If taking it before every meal isn't practical, I encourage my clients to take it before at least their two largest meals of the day. Many people notice they feel comfortably satisfied sooner, making it easier to enjoy an appropriate meal without feeling deprived or constantly thinking about food. I also appreciate that it supports healthy movement through the digestive tract, something that often becomes especially important as people begin making healthier food choices.
One of the things I teach my clients is that we don't always feel hungry because we need more food. Sometimes our bodies are still looking for the nutrition they haven't received, and other times we eat simply out of habit. Sometimes it's not our stomach that's hungry... sometimes our mouth is just bored.
Rather than encouraging people to simply eat less, I encourage them to eat better. I also teach my clients that the order in which they eat their food can make a real difference. Beginning a meal with vegetables or other fiber-rich foods, followed by proteins and healthy fats, and finishing with starches helps many people feel more satisfied throughout the meal. When those starches come from intact whole foods rather than highly processed carbohydrates, people often find they're satisfied longer and healthy eating becomes much easier to maintain. I have found that this approach complements Extra B Gone beautifully. The formula helps support the healthy habits my clients are building, while those habits allow the formula to do what it was designed to do.
I don't believe lasting success comes from relying on any single product. My goal is always to help people build habits they can maintain for the rest of their lives. Extra B Gone is not a magic pill, nor is it meant to replace good nutrition. I simply see it as another valuable tool that supports healthy appetite, comfortable digestion, and sensible weight management while people create lasting lifestyle changes.

The directions on the bottle provide a general recommendation. In my own practice, I view those amounts as a starting point, not a limit. During times of greater discomfort, I adjust the amount and frequency according to the level of support the body seems to need.
A personal note for my clients: If we've worked together recently, please follow the recommendations I gave you during your consultation.
